| flea/tick preventative It's almost that time of year again! Last year we had a horrible outbreak of fleas in our house, despite what we used and ticks are awful in our area as it is. Lyme's is very prevelant and I especially worry about Chip because I can't get him vaccinated for Lyme's because he's severely allergic to the vaccine. I've tried Frontline, I've tried sprays, I've tried natural remedies, I've tried collars (I know they are bad, but I was desperate), I've tried all kinds of stuff. NOTHING works. Any ideas? I heard Revolution is good. I want something that is going to REPEL fleas and ticks and kill them if they do happen to get on the dogs, not just kill them after they've gotten on the dogs.

| Their is another thread about this. Think is "Confortis for fleas or flea prevention", can't remember. I have used Confortis for a year and have not problems, but it is not suppose to be given to dogs under 5 lbs.

| Frontline doesn't work for us either. I took Chip for a SHORT walk a long time ago and he came home with 7 ticks on him!
