Thank you for your replies. I am considering using small portions of organic beet powder. | |

| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | There is a difference between someone's opinion and an actual scientific study; the studies suggest that beet pulp can cause bloating in some large breed dogs. If it causes gas or bloating you might want to refrain from using it, but some of the information put out on the web is put out their by companies who want to "sell" you a product or food. They want to convince you that their food is much better than another food. From what I understand beets are ok in small qualities.

				 | What I am looking for is factual information regarding organic powdered beets. Not beet pulp. I guess I wasn't specific enough in my initial question. Last edited by chattiesmom; 02-27-2009 at 12:53 PM. |
