| I dont think there is anything wrong with them having them. Mine have had them once.

| The raw ones are suppose to be good for dogs with liver issues. |

| i know that the ingredient beet Pulp is a controversial ingredient in dog kibble- not sure if that helps or not. |

| no it's because it has shown to do something to the liver in some studies- so again- ti's not for sure- but "some studies" would be enough for me to stay away |

| Where are those studies? I just looked up on the net and didnt see anything about that. The only concerns were the staining

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | There is a difference between someone's opinion and an actual scientific study; the studies suggest that beet pulp can cause bloating in some large breed dogs. If it causes gas or bloating you might want to refrain from using it, but some of the information put out on the web is put out their by companies who want to "sell" you a product or food. They want to convince you that their food is much better than another food. From what I understand beets are ok in small qualities.
