| When I first brought home my little puppy Suzi the breeder had her on Puppy Chow. I knew that was a low quality food too. Then I thought Science Diet was better due to the fact the vet sold it and had samples in his office. As I became a member of YT I found out Scienc diet was NOT a quality food either SO I started doing a little research and learned about how bad the corn and other fillers were for out Babies. A wondeful lady sent me samples of Life's Abundance , and a little cookie. Suzi loved the Cookie, but did not like the food. THat was a no go for her. Then I found A puppy Kibble that is made By Nature. This one to me looked very good and nutrious. AND they also make canned. I checked on the food list , and the kibble rated a 4. not that great, but not that poor either. However, the CAnned made by the same company scored A 6. That is the highest rating given. However the canned is expensive, but when feeding a little dog , it goes far. I am feeding Suzi both now. She eats the canned right up , and I leave the kibble down for her all the time with fresh , bottled water. I try not to feed her the canned too much because i want her to eat her kibble too. i DO NOT think it is bad to feed both canned and kibble . It gives variety and it is the best of both worlds. I also give Suzi human foods such as, Yogurt, cheese, White chicken meat , rice, only in moderation, and not too often. Best wishes to you , I know how difficult it is to find a great food for your furby. I am curious as to if anybody has ever heard of the Kibble i am referring to? Nobody has mentioned this one before? Even though the canned has a rating of A 6.

| food i feed wellness just for puppy...kibble and canned. kayden is now 4 months old. she gets canned in the morning and at night...i mix it with a little warm water (she's spoiled) she gets kibble during the day (about 1/4 cup)...and i mix that with warm water, too. she has normal stools...same times every day. for snacks, she loves apples and pears. no peel or core. and cottage cheese...she gets so excited when i get the tub out of the fridge. she also loves the wellness yogurt biscuits, and the just for puppy treats. i'm one of the lucky yorkie owners...kayden loves to eat. i hope this helps. good luck kelli |

| I would like to have suggestions also for canned foods. I have a rescue that I just found out yesterday has a broken jaw. It is an old fracture and nothing the vet can do, but he did tell me that she will need soft foods. |
