| Hump back Yorkie?? I had a friend who had a Yorkie a few years ago and it had a hump in its back. This same friend saw my new puppy and said that my puppy looked like it had a hump also. Is this a common thing in Yorkies?? My puppy is 9 weeks old. I can't see a hump but apparently my friend sees it. |

| Why do they call it Roached back. I dont think Roaches have a curve back. |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | It's not in reference to the insect...roached means outward curve.

| Yes, it's called a roach back when the spine curves up. It is a conformation flaw, not a medical problem. |

YT 500 Club Member | My Poppy has a curved spine also. I thought it was a medical problem but found out it wasn't. Sorry you have to deal with this also but at least your is healthy : )
