What in the world can i do to get her weight back down to a healthy weight. I only feed them Purina One i dont feed any human food what-so-ever. Any suggestions on a good diet? Please help!!

| How much is she fed a say? Have medical issues like hypothyroidism been ruled out? If all is well, you can replace some of her kibble with something like green beans to make her feel full faster. A senior formula food with reduced calories might also work but be careful about restricting protein too much.

| do you free feed? Does she get excersise? How many treats does she get. Just like us everything counts. If you do free feed you might want to put her on a scheduale and only leave the food out for a certain amount of time and then put it away. Also as asked before how much food are you feeding? |

| What you might want to try is o put them all on a scheduale with leaving the food down for a certain amount of time and then takeing it away the puppies should be fed 3 times a day where as the momma should be fed 2 times a day. Try to really limit the treats for now you can always go back to giving the treats at a later date. There are a lot of pet foods they call all life stages I believe Natural balance and Merick are just two that do. |
