| ![]() Castrating him may help and it is certainly worth a try but there is no guarantee.

| ![]() thanks all for your replies so far! thankfully we live in spain & our house has tiled floors so easy to keep clean, but we are returning to UK soon & carpets are not so easy to clean! He never pees on furniture thankfully just by walls & the kitchen bin! Wish it would stop though ![]() |

| ![]() Has he been used for breeding and is he around other dogs? How was he potty trained as a puppy? Was he trained on pee pads or to go outside? From my experience with all the males I have been around is that some of them do pick up the habit of marking but it should not be a constant thing. You might want to have him checked by a vet to see if he could have a urinary track infection. If he checks out medically then you might want to invest in some belly bands and just have him wear one of those in the house. For males that like to hike their leg I have found that putting a jug in the middle of a pee pad give them a target other than the wall. Good luck to you. ![]() |

| ![]() Me female (spayed) did this also. After 2 days of her peeing on things after I had just taken her out, off to the vet we went.. turns out she had a UTI. Might be something to check for

| ![]() If the dog has no medical problem, I would get him some belly bands. It won't stop his behavior, but it will keep the pee pee off of everything.
