| Tooth Extraction I took my 9 month old yorkie baby to the vet about 2 weeks ago. The vet said we need to extract her top baby canine tooth that never fell off. I've been putting it off cause I'm so worried something might go wrong. Has any one else had there yorkies baby tooth pulled off? Do I need to worry or should I just go ahead and get it pulled? Any advice? Thanks. |

| usually it is done when they get fixed, spayed or neutered... and it is very important to get it done, yorkies are prone to tartar and dental problems due to tartar and retained baby teeth is just one more contributing factor. It is very common for yorkies to have retained baby teeth and nothing unusual. It will be unusual however if your vet makes you put him/her under anesthesia 2 times instead of pulling it out during the spay/neuter. Just get it done, you will never regret it !!!!

| Cookie's last baby canine tooth fell off on its own. Now I dont have to put her under to get her tooth taken out anymore. |
