| Question about spaying Hello everyone, I am not good at this sort of thing but this is my 2nd time posting on this site. But I have a question and I wanted to hear your opinions I have yorkie name Diva who is 13 months, will it be OK to spay her if she just started to bleed. I notice a little blood about 3 days ago. I called a vet and question her about her being fix. She said it was OK to do the procedure. Is this OK to get my Diva spayed if she started to bleed. This is the first time I noticed some bleeding. Is there anyone out there who can give me some insight? Thanks in advance |

| Yes, it is okay. However, it is safer to wait about 6 weeks post heat. I would personally wait.

| It is much safer to wait because of the increased possibility of bleeding during surgery |
