| what is a bully stick? I see all these pics of dogs and their "bully sticks", what are they and are they good for the dog? I have a 3.1 pound full grown yorkie, can I give him one, or is it too dangerous for him due to his size?

| One of the better chew treats. Made from a bull tendon. No problem for Yorkies. They love them. Go for 6" size or larger.

| I would think that bully stick can strength their teeth. Haruka likes it... but usually bully stick smells... Sometimes when they chew, it sticks to her hair... so I just need to watch... Any food or treats you give, you want to pay attention... I like giving Haruka a bully stick as she really likes it. And Haruka is about the same size as your yorkie...

| Can you get ostrich tendons? We get those here instead of bully sticks and they don't smell at all. But the dogs LOVE them!

| I knew about bully sticks from YT, and just recently found them sold at Petsmart.... THey look like a regular beef bone, and come in different sizes and shapes. i was surprised that the price was a littleon the expensive side... I brought one home and Suzi loved it... OMG they are smelly Suzi chews on a bully Stick for Hrs. THey seem very safe though and I have not heard of any dog nOT loving them. If you can get passed what they are made out of and the stinky smeel, then your Yorkie certainly will apreciate them

| There's a brand of bully sticks call Moo Dog Chews-- they're a LOT less smelly than the other brands we have tried. Plus they are made from free range, hormone-free cattle. I'm really glad I found them-- Penny has always loved bully sticks, but I hated them because of the smell.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | yes, they are made from bull's penis.. but to be honest look at what alot of people in other countries eat.. my boy loves these and they are perfectly safe for them and they help keep their teeth clean. You have to get the right kind. The ones I get do not stink or dye anything. |
