YT Addict | just got home from the Vet's odie is allergic to fleas!!! lol poor baby but yea he has a skin infection from all the scratching and irritation. dr said it only takes one flea for him to get that way so now i have him on some anti-biotic to boost him up some and got all medicated shampoo and flea spray and they want me to give him Benadryll alergy and see if that helps too. and we actually dont keep benadryll in the house because i'm deathly allergic to it haha, go figure! he should get better soon i hope. but the fleas are coming from 2 different neighbors' cats. i told the guy in front of us about odie and he said he would get flea stuff for his cat and he's sorry. but the other cat is from down the street...she's one of those old crazy cat ladies with like a hundred...so my dad, (the COP) can go talk to her =] |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Oh no poor baby. My yorkie i had many years ago had a flea allergy and it was before they came out with all the flea preventions. He was so miserable whenever he got a flea bite. I was constantly fogging the apartment and getting him flea dips.I hope you can get rid fo the fleas.

| We found out a while back that Tatum has a flea allergy too. She's on all the flea prevention stuff but still occasionally one will bite her and she will itch like an insane child. The vet has given us "anti-itch pills" to give her when that happens. It usually happens if she's been down at my MIL's house (I think she has them outside at her house) and it normally only takes a half a pill twice a day for 2 or 3 days to clear the itching up. The bottle is at home and I can't remember what it's called. I'll try to remember to look at it tonight and let you know what it is in case you're interested.

| Baby Chloe likes childrens grape fast melts Benadryl. She eats them like a treat. She gets half a tablet 2X a day. Just thought if Odie likes them it would make it easier to give each day. Feel better Odie.
