| Yorkie throat problem Help! My Yorkie has had a very strange bark for the last 2 days to the point where he stops barking when I leave him at home. That makes me think that something is wrong with his throat. His bark is not as strong as it was. (We just went through some bad weather from Hurricane Katrina, ya think that has had an effect on him?) |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | First of all, welcome to YT! Is it possible that he's hoarse and all barked out? Have you contacted your vet and asked them? Is he still eating and drinking okay?

| Id play it safe and see your vet. It might be a collapsed trachea??? Also, welcome to YorkieTalk.

| Thanks, guys for the warm welcome. I thought about the hoarseness and I really don't think he's all barked out. I do plan to call the vet this afternoon, however, I wanted to tap this resourse and ask the pros first. Thanks again. Mislilli |
