| I was told that vets can not be certified in ortho. It's not the same as human medicine. They can be certified in small animal surgery and ultimately perform a lot of ortho work. Anyway, Dr. K has done surgery on all of my dogs and they are all doing great almost a year later. I dont know much about Dr. Craig but I read something about him going to school in Ohio and that is where Dr. K went. maybe they know each other? I dont know where you are but if you considered driving to houston then maybe consider Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists. They also have ACVS diplomates like Dr.K. Dont think Nolana has any. I'm sure any choice you make will be good. |

| I highly recommend Dr. Beale at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston. Their website is: www.gcvs.com I have heard that Dr. Whitney is also great with knees. Their surgeons are Board Certified and Dr. Beale has operated on two of my fosters. One was a complicated case with his legs and one knee. Both pups have done very well. If you would like more detailed information, feel free to PM me! They also have a terrific physical therapy department!
