While PETA is definitely not my favorite organization and I think it is okay to cage dogs for a certain amount of time, there is some heartbreaking footage of this online. Now I can't prove that it is true but it has my attention enough to not support Iams/Euk until they come out and prove that it is not true.

Cages and research are one thing but abuse and causing unnecessary pain and suffering is another...

PETA isn't my favorite organization but I don't want to support puppy mill or anything where animas are abused. My dog is in a crate but is out all the time. She actually prefers it in the crate but I would never leave her for a long period of time (usually the door is open). I grew up in a farm so the idea of having cage animals is just so sad but all of our dogs were crate trained and within weeks were potty trained dogs.

I have not yet to find IAMs or Eukanuba come out to defend themselves. I wish they would since I have a bag of it and I know my parents have large bag (they have a chihuahua so it will take forever to finish it). Anyways, IAMS/Euk are both own buy Proctor and Gamble and they practically own everything. I trusted them since they are a huge sponsors to many dog shows.

I'm a nurse and working in medical field... everything is tested on animals and even the organic products out there are somehow tested inhumanely. It's hard. There are regulation but I know many reserach departments don't even follow the ethical guideline.
