I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | That's kind of the way Joey was, but an all-chicken diet is really not good for them. He's not getting the vitamins and minerals he needs. You need to stop the chicken and find a dog food. Any dog food would be better than this. Sprinkling the food with Parmesan cheese also works to get them interested, but if he's filling up on chicken he won't touch the dog food. Save your receipts too, Pet Smart will refund bags that your dog didn't like. Usually it take 24 hours to get them hungry enough to try the food, but if he's not too young, you can try this.

Try putting the cooked chicken into a kibble you think he has eaten in the' past. Slice the chicken into little thick pieces, maybe to or three, then slice longwise then across again making tiny little cubes. Add this to the kibble. It will be hard for him to just pick out the chicken and hopefully he will eat the kibble to eat the chicken. Hope this makes sence. That's what I had to do a couple of years ago with my Buddy and I still do it this way. He eats everything in the bowl. Add some greenbeans too. I use frozen veggies and put them into the microwave and add to his evening meal. Hope this helps you. | |

| Kibble is just dry dog food in bags, as opposed to canned or raw food.
