| Little Bumps Taylor had 1 flea bite, I know this because she had a small bite on the top of her head and flea dirt around it. I looked for the flea and didn't find it. A day or 2 later I found it but now there are a few more bumps around the same area. (no flea dirt though) I have been putting Seabrees on it. It seems to be getting a little better but could the bumps be an allergic reaction to a flea? Or could this be something else. Thank You Tami <>< |

| yes, they are probably a reaction from thr flea bites. BTW there is never (just one flea). If you know you have a flea problem it is better to address it sooner then later before you have a full fledged infestation. I see you are in Florida so fleas are probably a year round problem there |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i agree, there is never just one. you need to bath her and put on a flea treatment. plus you might have to vacuum and clean your entire house, including her blankets/beds/anything she lays on.

| I don't agree about the never 1 flea thing...my little one mya is on prevention meds for it and sometimes she will catch one when I bring her to school with me from another dog there (only has happened toward the very very end of hte month when she is due for another round)...it doesn't happen often, but i have never found more than one on her....ever and it's happened maybe 3 times total where i've found one on her months and months apart from each other. Now I agree that if your dog is an indoor dog and isn't ever around strange dogs, there is probably a flea problem...but in my case, she has never had an infestation of more than one flea on her.

| I did only find one flea, I have 2 other fur dogs. No flea's on them. My daughter loves to take her on walks so I am thinking that is where she picked it up. My other 2 stay at home. The bumps are getting a little smaller, I have been using the seabrees about 3 time a day, or when I remember Tami <>< |

| I brought Piper to the vet, because I saw one flea, but he had little red spots all over him. Well you can't imagine how many fleas the vet found especially around his legs. They are tricky buggers, and tend to hide when you're looking for them.
