Coming out of surgery!!!! Hi All, Not sure if anyone remembers me. Anyway...my Yorkie, Jordan got a operation this am. She was dx with a liver shunt. The surgeon called me late morning that she was waking up from anesthia (sp?). He located the shunt and put the ring in place, he spayed her and was able to remove the stones in her bladder. If everything continues good, she'll be home tomorrow. Thanks for reading.... Mom2twins

Thanks bonbon, She also had a two hour drive this morning. The hospital is two hours away. The surgeon also did a liver biopsy. Hopefully, that comes back good. Thanks again, mom2twins

Thank you everyone, Call the hospital. She is doing well. However, she has not want to eat this morning. Therefore, they want me to call around 2p.m. to see how she has done throughout the day. I'm sure not wanting to eat is normal. She just had major surgery. Will keep you all posted. Thanks again.
