| high fiber dog food Romeo was prescribed Royal Canin Hypoallergenic dog food for his anal gland issues. It is making him vomit. I want to try something high fiber. Any suggestions?

| aww poor man. When Layla had anal gland problems I added Metamucil to some yogurt or something for her- I would take him off the food as soon as you can- try giving him foods that are high in fibre as snacks- apples, carrots... |

| I'd get a good quality kibble and add pumpkin or Metamucil. Not sure what kibbles are already high in fiber but most of them seem pretty low.

YT 3000 Club Member | How high do you want the fiber most of solid gold is 4% which chester needs, you can used canned pumpkin the kind with no sugar or anything in it that is extra fiber. Halo dog food which isnt too bad has 6.5% fiber whioch is pretty good, and I think it is better quality than the royal canin is, green beans can help to. |

| Anything that is healthy for a dog that can be found in a dog food bag I think is good for the dog. Things can get expensive though and I would suggest that you look for dog food coupons before making any purchases. |
