| Merricks dry kibble What are your opinions. I was at the pet store today and realized my friend worked there that I haven't seen in a few years. I was talking to her and she suggested this brand of food. She said she feeds her dog it and it is very good. Anyone use it? love it or hate it? I didn't check out the bag as I was already paying at the register when she mentioned it. |

| I heard that it was good too, so I read the ingredients...it has SEA SALT in it. Isn't salt bad for doggies?! So I didn't buy it & stayed w/ Natural Balance Ultra small bites. Currently there's a poll here at YT & PennySaverUSA.com Forum there's a dog food rating chart. |

| We are using the natural balance small bites ATM and she has refused to eat it for the past two days. I am looking for something else, right now we are getting by on wellness canned food, boiled chicken, scambled eggs and today we had some salmon. |

| I almost bought the merrick, I know their canned food smells and looks delicious, but, the only thing on the hard food, was it had little pieces of like carrots and peas, and mine will pick out pieces and throw other pieces on the floor |

| We had Snickers on Merricks Puppy Plate until we decided to switch him to grainless due to flaky ears and licking paws. He liked it alot and so did we. I tried switching him to Merricks BG but we think he might have a chicken allergy as he still was itching and not enjoying it. All their BG is chicken meal based. Now we are on a rotation of NB duck/potato and venison/Spotato. He seems to like it but I am paranoid there is not enough meat in NB. I think I am going to add some Innova canned for more meat. -Vivian |

| Stormy loves chicken. My friend told me with the Merricks and the little pieces of veggie is you pour some hot water over it and it turns into a kind of sauce making it more appealing to the dog. This is what I like about the sound of it, I think Stormy would enjoy a nice sauce over her dry kibble. |

| I looked at Merrick ( the regular not the before grain formula) also , I can buy it right down the street , so I was going to try it. I wasn't sure about some of the ingredients listed in some entrees such as sea salt and whole garlic cloves. I thought they were bad for dog's? I wanted to do more research before I bought it, but then got side tracked and ended up with a different food. I have heard others say their dogs loved it. If the salt and garlic were OK then I would think it sounds like a good food.

| I am beginning to wonder are these little bity fur buddies ruling us or we ruling them. I have tried just about every food on here that somebody got theirs to eat. Just won`t eat hardly any of them. Dry or wet. She does like chicken so i cook her that but after 2 or 3 feeding we walk away from it. So good luck. She doesn`t like can food of any kind. I have spent so much money on food. She seems to be healthly. Plenty of life in her. She wants to play all the time. So i give her vitamins. She is on royal canin for yorkies right now. So far so good. |

| I've personally never used Merrick, but I know some people that have and they've had great results with it. They said there were actually pieces of peas and carrots in there which made it look healthy. I've heard good things about it from people on this site as well. I hope it works out for you! |

| I feed Merricks to both of mine and they love it. My only complaint is that A.J won't eat the carrots so I find them laying all over the house!

| Mazee has been on Merricks for probably close to a year now. She loves it! I feed her the canned and the dry. My only complaint about the dry is she picks out the veggies first..LOL
