It is Mandatory but this is what we were going to do as well

WAIT until he was 7 months or so... but oh well what's done is done and he is doing better now.. He just got a new doggie tent I'll post pics later, he is loving it lol

There's my fav lil Gucci man! I'm glad he's handling his shot OK. There is a good side to all of this...he's holding still enough for you to get some good pics! Love his cute lil shaved ears, and the jumper

My vet is accustomed to dealing with small and exotic animals. He doesnt give a "standard" shot for the first time out. My dogs didnt get the full dose until I was forced to see a vet over seas for my return trip home and they made out like champs. The only shot my dog ever reacted to was Lymes disease. I will not give that to my dogs ever again.

Yeah but most places require they have there rabies shot and it really dosent seem safe if you take them outside at all because a rabid animal could bite him before you even could get to him. Seems dangerous not to get the shot.

Glad to hear it seems he's coming thru it ok.

FYI: The State of Hawaii is rabies free, so I don't have to get rabies shots for my furbabies unless I'm taking them out of the state. Of course to keep us rabies free, there are very strict quarantine laws in place restricting pets coming into Hawaii.

Thanks!! Lucky You that you guys do not have rabies.. I have seen rabies when I was younger with a neighbors dog NOT OK

Understand that, just about every time I go to the vet I come out forgeting to ask something or talk to them about something.
