| If he was doing well on Kibbles and Bits, I would go back to that for a couple weeks and switch to something altogether different after that. Nutro has been blamed on illness and death in many dogs. I wouldn't feed anymore of that at all.

| Hello and Welcome to you and Coco. Congrats on your new man! First of all....relax. Take a deep breath. You will find an answer to everything you need to know about your new baby right here. First of all....good choice to change up his food. There is a gentle way to do it because Yorkie's tummies are very sensitive especially at 4 months. I will give you a few tips that I know since I just went through what you are going through as my Daisy Mae is 6 months. 1. When changing up food, mix in the new food with the old food and slowly transition to only the new food. I have read here that Nutro is not the best choice. I personally use Royal Canin #33 for puppies. But, that is my choice. There are so many really good ones out there. 2. When you first bring your baby home, the transition to new faces and surroundings will take a few days and that may mean no pooping and no eating. But be sure that if he doesn't eat that you have a product called Nutracal on hand. Pups at this age have issues with Hypoglycemia and you don't want your baby to go into low blood sugar shock. 3. Careful wih the pumpkin puree, I have used it on Daisy Mae for diarrhea. You don't want to constipate your pup. There is also a "search" engine for the boards. If you have anything specific that you want to know, use that. Also, many other people are on the boards with alot more experience. Feel free to ask anytime. You can PM me too. ~Kathy
