| Rotating food from same brand ok?? Is it ok to give my pup different flavors or varieties of the same brand of food? For exmaple right now I have transitioned to BG Merrick Chicken. Is it ok for him to have the Buffalo flavor as well and then Salmon? They are different meat sources si I'm not sure. I would love to give him a variety but not sure how he will react to those meats?? Thanks- -Viv |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I do, I rotate their flavor every two months or when they start showing signs of getting tired of the one flavor I buy a bag of the same brand just another flavor and they go back to eating it all again ,i even mix the dry kibble with some wet food for a while so they can keep their interest in food. hugs, cArmen in nj |

| That was something I asked about yesterday, the girl working at the pet store(she has worked there a few years and does have dogs), said you can, but, she has noticed sometimes when she switches flavors, that their tummies get a little upset, said sometimes with the different flavors, it tends to upset their stomaches for a day or two. Now, I have done that before with the 2 outside dogs and the nautraully wild |

| I think it's good to give them a little variety. Think about it....would you want to eat the same thing every day? The food I use comes in 4 varieties and I change with every bag. I also use some canned mixed with dry for their evening meal. The canned I use comes in 3 varieties so mine actually get 12 different flavor combinations without changing formulas. Mine aren't allergic to any of the protein sources and there's no stomach upset with the changes. They seem to really enjoy their food with no pickiness. |

| Feeding real food is the best, tastiest, healthiest and safest you can do for your babies.
