| Petzlife - this is absolutely the best product I believe. Lots YTers would agree PetzLife Products Inc - Products For a Healthier Pet My vet carries it & some local pet food stores - check around. Also, sever YT vendors sell it. You can use a toothbrush or just apply with your finger and it will go to work. Check out the before & afters on their website

| i would be VERY careful with the Petzlife... some contain alcohol which is a HUGE no no. I dont' use it personally. I use an infant toothbrush because they are nice and small= ok and the designs are cute too and I use an all natural toothpaste. It isn't as effective as other toothpastes but i know it is better for her. |

| An enzamatic toothpaste is the best thing to use. You could start by just wrapping a peice of gauze around you finger. There are also very small pet toothbrushes ans finger brushes that slip over the fingertip. The enzamatic toothpaste I am now using is beef flavored and my dogs love it. I also spray once a day with clorhexadine rinse my vet recommends. I have tried the petzlife and found it to not be effective |

| We use a kids toothbrush and CET Vanilla-Mint toothpaste. Ellie gets OraVet once a week and her teeth are flossed at least once a week.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | No don't use the Petzife as toothpaste, you would be using too much if you used it this way. The way it works is the Petzlife is said to soften the tartar and then regular tooth brushing, scrapes it off. If your dog doesn't have tartar, it prevents it from forming. The spray and the gel are the same product, some find one or the other, easier to apply. You don't need to use a lot of the product and twice a week is enough if your dog doesn't have a tartar problem. While you don't want to give your dog a shot of whiskey, reports of Petzlife being bad on account of the alcohol are highly exaggerated, in my opinion. Alcohol is a very effective germ killer, and if this product reduces the need for your dog to get a professional teeth cleaning, I'm all for it. During a professional cleaning anesthesia is used, and we all know the risks associated with that. I use poultry flavored dog toothpaste, and the fingertip brushes. Don't use human toothpaste the sweeteners in human toothpaste can be deadly to dogs.

| Yes I do and it goes miserably but I do it anyway. Most of the time she just chews on the floss and slides it between her own teeth (so cute). It looks like she knows how to floss herself. I just hold both ends for her while she is laying on her back. After she plays for a minute I really do try to floss them and get my fingers chewed up in the process. I figure a little bit is better than nothing. For what it's worth, I cleared it with Ellie's vet before doing it and she said it was fine as long as it isn't swallowed, so you really have to make sure you're holding it tight.

| Where did you purchase CET Vanilla-Mint toothpaste? I have looked everywhere for it. His vet only carries CET chicken and beef flavored. I've checked some boutiques also, but they only carry Petzlife products.

| Ellie May, what are your thoughts on the CET rinse? I just received the CET vanilla toothpaste yesterday and I give it . I wanted to get the rinse as well, but wanted to ask if anyone else has tried it.
