| Vomiting at Night???? This is so strange, but for the last three nights, Miles has woken up and vomited. Just once each night. After that, he's been fine and gone back to sleep. He's acting fine otherwise. His pooping is on a normal schedule, he has plenty of energy, and is eating like a little pig. When I've "inspected" what he's thrown-up, it doesn't look like anything too strange (just disgusting!). He only eats his dog food, and the occasional treat when he goes potty outside. No people food or anything. Is there any reason a dog would throw up only at night??? And for three nights in a row???? I'm baffled... |

| Does he sleep under the covers? My boys have done that occassionally, mostly when they were younger, I honestly think they got too hot and whatever was in their little belly started churning! I hope it stops for you.

| When he throws up, is it liquidy bile or chunky? How many hours before bed do you feed him last and what time of time does this happen?

| That is funny that you mention that. He did recently start sleeping under the covers with me, since it got cold out. And I also just got an electric blanket last week. Hmmmmmmm... That's a good point you bring up! Thanks! |

| The first two nights it had stuff in it...looked like some food and partially digested treats. Last night it was just a little foamy liquid. He eats at 5:00 am and 5:00 pm. |

You could try giving him a little sumpthin' right before you go to sleep - maybe some peanut butter, bit of cheese, or some kibble.

| Mine also eat at 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. and my boys need a little snack before we go to bed or they will throw up. Another thought - do you use Petzlife for their teeth? That also caused my boys to throw up in the evenings

| Thanks everyone! Gonna leave the electric blanket off tonight so it's not quite so warm, and give him a snack before bed. Hope something works! |
