| Tonsilitis and ear infections I have a one year old male yorkie. Since it started turning cool in the fall we have had one case of tonsilitis and ear infections after another. We get off antibiotics and in a couple of weeks we are back at vets sick with another throat infection. Rolo goes outside to potty, but I try to keep in a dry area and I don't let him stay outside very long. I do not bath him when he is sick. I have started trying to keep a sweater on him. I feed him nutri source puppy small bites dry food. Rolo goes to work with me most days so he does go in and out on a regular basis, but I try to keep him dry and warm. I don't know if this is normal or not; I can't imagine that it would be normal for a dog to stay sick. Other than the throat and ear issues Rolo is healthy. He weighs 4 lbs. Any suggestions or thoughts; my vet and I are at a loss. |

| That does sound strange. Are the ear infections bacterial or yeast?
