| how much raw should i feed? So i just recently switched to natures variety raw we have tried the chicken and the beef flavor and she absouluty loves it. She is a very picky eater and is a little too skinny so hopefully she will continue to love this food and gain weight. I have been on the website and did the calculator and it says she should hvae between 2 and 3 medalions each day. I have been splitting between two meals. I also saw today that they have 65 calories each this doesnt seem like a lot. So should i be feeding more. I want her to gain weight so how much should i do? Then when i she's at the right weight how much? So for those of you who feed NV how much do you feed and how much does your dog weigh. She is my show prospect so i am really lookign forward to seeing if this improves her coat. I was going to do the whol rotation thing and i bought the instinct chicken kibble but she wont eat it so i guess i will be returning this Any other ideas for weight gain would be wonderful. Plus i was wanting to start to give her like a bone a week for teeth what kind should i try? oh i almost forgot she weighs a little over 5lbs but she should weigh about 6 lbs . Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | When you entered the info on NV's website, did you put in her current weight or her desired weight? Make sure you put in her desired weight. You want to feed about 2-3% of her desired body weight. Of course, if on a weight-gain diet, then you add more. My Wylie is 6.5 pounds and gets about 3.5 medallions per day. Marcel weighs 3 pounds and gets just under 2 medallions per day. Depending on how their body feels, I adjust from there.
