| How much Potassium Bromide for yorkies with seizures My 2yr old male started having seizures a month ago. He's on pot. bromide. I was just wondering what dose other yorkies are takeing. Oscar is 6.6 lbs. Thanks!! |

| Lady gets potassium bromide along with phenobarbital. She gets a pretty high dose of each because she gets cluster seizures. She weighed 7.2 last week at the vets. She gets 280 mg KBr before bed. Since Oscar just started taking it, they will monitor his levels with bloodwork to make sure the dose is right. Have you seen this website? | Is yours in liquid or pill? Mg/ Ml are they the same? |

| Lady's are in capsule form. ML is usually a liquid measurement. Your vet may have started Oscar on liquid because it's easier to adjust the dosage. |
