| I love Porkie Yorkies..I really wish I have one...mine is soooo picky and I feed him homecook and he is still picky....sometimes its frustrating when you cook good food and they turn it down coz they don't like it. I had Porkie dogs before and I really enjoy watching them eat their food when they love their food.

you sound like such a good mom!! ...and yes, with LP, it is important for them to be at a good weight as to not put any additional pressure on them ... even though it is less "convenient" for us not to be able to free feed, our kids are worth it ... i hope sophie is doing okay!! now my miss buffey on the other hand is such a picky eater ... so i have two extremes here like today, she decided she would only eat her kibble if i put scrambled egg whites mixed in (although she mostly only ate the eggs lol)

| Food makes a difference Hi...my Yorkie is only 5 months and weights 8 lbs. Talk about a porky yorkie. I've had her on Science Diet the entire time...that is until today. I found out, thanks to Yorkie Talk that Science Diet is one of the worse on the market. Full of fillers. Now I have my puppy on Innova EVO. The pet store said this product has no fillers and will fill her up with less amount of food. It will also help her disposition and she will even loose some of her puppy weight. It will take about 1 month for the changeover, but i'm sure it will be worth it. I gave her a few samples, and she loved it. Thanks for Yorkie Talk. They have held me with alot of questions. | Yes... I have to admit that I too have a Porkey Yorkie. Its Chip, he is so tiny (other than his belly). I took them to get groomed at the vet, and they broke the news that he would have to go on a diet, and excerise more. Wish us luck!

| Did I miss something? Someone was telling you maybe to change food, I didn't even see where you wrote what kind of food your baby is on? Myself, I don't like schedules, so, mine are all free fed. I do have one porkie yorkie out of all 4 inside dogs, she likes to eat, but, that's fine, they live such short lives, that I want her to have a happy life, and she loves her kibble |
