applesauce? other suggestions? My yorkies have to be on Hills Prescription Diet for a little while and they hate it! My youngest had some tummy issues, so the vet put both on it while we work it out. I feel so bad, i've been trying to figure out what else i can give them to make up for it. I have some all natural, no sugar added plain applesauce. They seem to like it and haven't had any digestive problems. Is this ok to give them? How much is too much? Im a sucker for those cute little faces so I want to give them something to make them happy!! Thanks!!

I think some plain white rice would be better or if you have some chicken that you could boil and cut up into tiny pieces that would be much better than applesauce -- although applesauce shouldn't hurt them either

I always feed 1 Tbs per pound per day. So my yorkie is 7 pounds and he gets 7Tbsp of food each day. I agree about the rice and chicken. Try the canned chicken---I drain it and put it on top of the rice--the babies love it!
