hahaha!! Turk does this too!! It cracks us up...sometimes he'll walk clear to the other side of the kitchen to eat each piece of kibble. I told my husband he probably burns/runs off every bite with his little "ritual". He also likes to eat near us. If I sit down to eat, or my husband is standing at the counter eating something, Turk thinks he needs to eat too and will bring each bite over by us to chew. LOL! They really are funny, aren't they? | |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | With my gang each morning I set little piles on the floor and they all go to one and eat. The rest of the day they free feed but in the morning even with the food waiting on the floor in a pan they act starved until I put down a pile and call them by name to get theirs. If they want more after their pile id gone they will go to the pan. NO they are not spoiled..... I tried all kinds of bowls, pans, paper plates but the want special service in the morning. When we got Darla she ate out of the pan fine until she saw the other dogs wouldn't and she stopped after a few days.

| I am so happy that I am not the only one with this problem. When I first brought my Dymond home on 12-04-08 at 15wks she would not eat anything unless I hand fed her kibble by kibble. I tried mixing the kibble with wet food but she would just lick the wet off of the kibble. Now she will eat a little at a time but only from the floor not out of her bowl. I am going to try the plate thing. Also she will only drink her water if the bowl is filled to the top. Yorkies are definitely like children they all have their own personalities. You gotta love them |

| Tilly won't eat out of a Bowl either. She will eat out of my hand the best and sometimes the floor. Can't help you, Iv'e tries everything short of buying a different bowl. |

| Canyon won't eat out of a bowl either. He eats his kibble off the floor from a pile that I make. He will however eat his treat on a saucer, but that's it. |
