| Ziwi Peak Hey guys. Ive been searching for just the right food for little Ari, and may have found a gold mine. Ive started out throwing the Nutro Ultra out!! and feeding him Wellness fo r puppies. I must say he loved it and his stools did firm up. I kind of had worries because it stained his little mustache slightly, which makes me think that there maybe some kind of coloring agent in it? I searched for a petfood botique close to my home and found one right down the road maybe 3 minutes They are pushing the EVO , Solid Gold, and the Ziwi Peak. I took samples of all and found the Ziwi Peak to be out of this world. It is such a high quality food that you do not have to feed as much of it as you would a normal food. I talked with the store owner who swears by it. I took it upon my self to go to their website and research and I was impressed. Lil Ari loves it to death. It does however smell pretty strong, but its such a small trade off. Im going to alternate between the three different choices , just to keep Ari's variety up , and keep it fun for him. Love to hear what yall think, and if anyone else is feeding it! |

| Ziwi is a great food if you can afford it. I had concerns that it was not entirely balanced because it is essentially all meat. You might try mixing in some fruits and vegies and carbs, or trading off with some other brands just to make sure the diet is balanced.

| Sounds like some pretty good advice. I wondered that as well. It just seems to be pretty much Meat, meat, and more meat. I wondered if it was balanced as well. The company swears by it, and states that feeding just Ziwi is all the dog needs to emulate their natural diet in the wild. Im thinking Ill just go back and forth with that and EVO small bites. Ill play with that a while and see how it goes. Thanks guys |
