| Mine loved the Zuke's Mini Naturals. Their favorite was chicken. We used them as training treats. We also used Cheerios. We recently got a bag of Fruitables soft and chewy apple bacon treats and they love those too. I would say just read the ingredients list and make sure they are good quality and made in the USA.

| Yes, Fruitables is the brand name. They carry several different flavors, and they are made in the USA. I get mine at the small pet food store where I buy their food. I don't know if they are available in the big stores like Petco though.

| Ruger loves these things called All Natural Chicken Bits, made by Boulder Dog Food Company. I like them because they are small, crunchy sticks that can be broken into smaller pieces for teaching tricks. The web site is www.boulderdogfoodcompany.com I live in Colorado and I don't know if you can get these everywhere. Just make sure the treats you find are not made in China. |

Always looking for good, simple treats for trick training that can be broken into teeny pieces.

| The best analogy I can give is a pretzel stick. Hard and crunchy but easy to break into smaller pieces. Each one is about an inch long, but easy to break into 1/4" pieces. The fact they are not soft makes it easy to throw them directly into your pocket without making a mess. I often keep them in an old prescription bottle in my pocket. |

YorkieTalk Newbie! | It's funny now that Kody is a part of the family the amount of time I spend in pet stores now. I have been reading the different posts and won't buy anything not made in the USaA. This is my first pet (besides fish) so i have been doing much research. I welcome and suggestions, coupon sites, etc. |

| Does anyone know anything about Beneful Baked Delights stars bacon and cheese? I was wondering if they would b healthy. Milo only get frozen green beans, Cheerios and frozen fruit. Sometimes I will give him a piece or to of our goldens food when we are outside. He eats chicken soup dog food.

| I don't think anything with the name Beneful is going to be the best choice. I would choose something else. Make sure it is natural, made in the USA, and doesn't contain ingredients from China or other questionable ingredients. We tried Chicken Soup dog food a couple years ago and it gave my dogs horrible gas, just like all the other dog foods made by Diamond does. I finally stopped feeding anything that is made by Diamond or manufactured for other companies by Diamond. There is just something in their ingredients or food that didn't agree with my dogs. Also, many of us know how unreliable Diamond is as a company and what a bad reputation they have. If you are comfortable with the food and it is working out for you, then more power to you.

I think dog treats are made more for the human and not the dog, this is not a nutritious snack, I'm sure the dog would love it, but I don't think it's healthy. I'd rather see a dog getting the treats you are giving, and you can add other vegetables, and even chicken breast with no skin. It's pretty easy to make dehydrated chicken breast. Most Yorkies should be watching their weight so treats should be limited, and we must remember that Yorkies have week digestive systems, once we damage it, we have to be extremely careful what food is given. The ingredients of this snack are similar to a human cracker that is bacon and cheese flavored. Dogs taste with the noses, they don't taste with their taste buds, so some of the ingredients seem unnecessary.

| Thanks, I will keep milo on the healthy treats. He also loves carrots. How many treats can i give him aday? He gets one when he goes on his potty pad and when he has something he not suppose to have. Some days he gets alot of beans. Lol I feed him natural balance dog food duck and potato. He is a year old and 7 lbs. I don't want him over weight.
