| When to switch from puppy to adult food? I currently have my girl on Wellness Puppy and she's been on that since we've had her. She is approaching 7 months now and was wondering when I should switch off the puppy food. I made the mistake of buying a big bag and would like to try and use it up before switching. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks |

| That's a really good question. And, I have no idea! lol We switched from a puppy formula to an "all life stages" food sometime during his first year, so I never researched this. I'm sure someone else will know.

| My breeder told me after you get them fixed. If you are not, then I am not sure. Not sure if she is right. |

| I have been feeding my puppy (10 months 12/7) EVo all life stage type food. Doesn't it say on the bag? You could call the company or look on their site. Max would not eat Wellness Puppy. He liked the small bites EVO more I guess.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | It should say on the bag, for Joey it was 8 months. I agree with the others and when you switch over add some of the new to the old and switch gradually, unlike humans, dogs don't like changes to their diets.

| Thanks for all the replies. I'm going to contact Wellness and see what they say. |
