| Help...... Does anyone feed their dogs Cesar Milan (the Dog Whisperer) dog food? I am curious I have been feeding my pups this since the end of the summer and haven't had any problems. But in Oct. I purchased a 8mth old 2lb yorkie, whom i found out later that week had round worms and also found out his previous owner had never taken him the vet. So this could have been treated long ago. Long story short .... his skin is now very dry and flakey. He does not itch or scratch I have just started noticing this and am wondering if it is his food. and there is a slight odor. I have put him on Omega 3 oil and some Royal treatment pet spa oil treatments anyone have any ideas could it be the food. I am thinking of changing his food to Holistic Select (anchovie, sardine and salmon with oatmeal) Help.......

| His skin has a slight odor??? i am a little confused. Have you checked his ears? If he has an ear infection it can smell pretty bad...smell his ears. If his ears stink take him to the vet.

| nope! nothing smelly in his ears. I now he's got me all He has a vet appt on the 5th. I do not want to bathe him until he has seen the vet. I don't want to dry his skin even more. without knowing what is causing the dry skin. oh yeah he does not have any hair loss or itching.

| puppy might have ring worm. Any tummy worms could cause some malnutrition which would cause the dry skin. The smell to the skin makes me think it could be ring worm which can be contagious to you. |
