| Maggie shed A LOT of hair! So I was giving Maggie a bath on Wednesday night and I could not believe the amount of hair that was left in my bathtub, even after 3-4 separate rinsings. I've had her since May and she's never shed before, neither has Franklin. I swear, she lost SO MUCH hair. I'm sort of worried. :/ The only think I can think of is that she just got out of heat a couple of weeks ago. She's getting spayed on Tuesday and I'm so nervous because I'm scared something might be wrong with her and there could be complications during the surgery. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

| The first time I used Revolution flea control, Tessa's hair started falling out. She must of had a bad reaction to it. I took her to the vet and they put her on antibiotics and gave her a shot and after about a month it stated growing back...You never know when the yorkie's are going to have a bad reaction ...especially the foods you feed them... |

| I would probably get her seen. Poor Maggie!!! Also, I know dogs can have pretty severe balding after whelping. Maybe she had something like a false pregnancy and it's all horomonal? I don't know much about the horomone stuff as I am not a breeder, but it's just a thought. How scary though!!

| Thanks everyone! I considered it might be a side effect of the heat/a false pregnancy. I will definitely ask the vet about it when we go in on Tuesday.
