| Bully Stick I gave Sam a very large 10 inch maybe bully stick and went in to cook dinner and about 40 min later I searched him out to find he ate the whole thing. gone completely. So I thought ok next time I will cut it down no big deal. He has had diarrhea for 2 days. He acts fine eating drinking and obviously passing things well. Has anyone else had this happen ever?

| We used to always get our bully sticks from a certain place. I recently ordered different ones from a vendor that was having a great sale. Franklin and Maggie ALWAYS have diarrhea after eating these. I threw them away and will go back to where I used to get them. I think it depends on the quality? I forgot to mention earlier that they eat 6" sticks in about... 15 minutes.

| I wonder? Gus softens an end of a 6" or 8" bully stick in about 15 minutes. I suspect, based on your experiences, that not all bully sticks are close to being equal. I get Red Barn sticks from Petco, and mail order from Merrick's. They do make him very thirsty, but so far no diarrhea.

| Wierd. It takes mine about a week to finish off a bully stick. I mean, it takes Ryder an hour or so to even get the end soft, and Ranger is a really strong chewer, and can only get maybe an inch off in a day. Mine love them and I do too because it's so great for their teeth. I sure wouldn't be feeding them if they could eat it in one sitting though.

| It might have been too much for him at once. 10" is quite a bit in that amount of time. (if there's a next time)...you might try giving it to him in small increments. |
