| ![]() I have had my Yorkie for a week now and gave her her first bath yesterday. Her previous owner said that it had been awhile since she'd had a bath, which isn't a problem but she got some caked up crud at her eyes. I wiped at it with a warm cloth while I was holding her after her bath but I don't want to hurt her. Does anyone have any suggestions for me to clean her eyes up, I just hate the way that crud looks at the corner of her eyes and I don't want it to be causing her any discomfort. I appreciate any help that any of you can give me. |

| ![]() I would take a warm cloth and gently rub her eyes. They also sell eye wipes and cleaners at the pet store. Maybe try some of that.

| ![]() I agree with the warm washcloth. Watery eyes are a trait of the breed. She needs to get used to having her eyes cleaned reguarly now that's she's a puppy so she'll let you do it later without much fuss. |
