i have my yorkie and my kitten on Wellness core. My yorkie is doing fine on it. My kitten however had the most terrible gas and poop smells. she's on her second 3lb bag now and the smell is gone.

switching to a higher quality food sometimes takes a few weeks to get the results you want. Their digestive system is adjusting to the new food and "flushing" out the old food so that is where the smell comes from. Wellness is great so if you stick with it a little longer you may see and smell better results.

However every dog (and cat) is different so you may not get the same results for all your yorkies.

personally i am not a fan of Life's abundance. It contains Beet Pulp which is a controversial ingredient in dog food- sutdies have shown it can lead to health problems.

I use only Life's Abundance and all my babies are doing great on it and LOVE it. I even start my new puppies on it and they do great and readily eat it. makes weaning very easy.

All mine have nice shiny coats, bright eyes and have great energy. Their skin is not dry and NO itchies!

They eat well, love their food and are healthy as a horse! LOL

Oh and their poo's are nice and small, hard, and do not smell bad at all. (not that it smells good! LOL) And I know this because I have one or two who like to poo wherever they want sometimes!!! But they are all pee pad trained so I pick it up daily and whats nice is that its so small and hard and there is not alot!
