| Spaying and marking I think Caylee is starting to mark her territory. We've always planned to have her spayed, but my question is will she stop this once spayed? She's almost 18 weeks old, btw.

| Is she marking her territory in your house? If not, then it really shouldn't be much of a concern. There's a chance it will go away after she's spayed, but it may not. |

| Yes. She peed on the recliner chair three different times. I thought at first it was an accident, but now I'm not so sure.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | It sounds less like marking than the fact she smells the urine odor on the chair. Marking isn't simply urinating...it's going a tiny bit in many places. Ramsey is spayed and marks....but not in my house.

| Thanks for clearing that up. Any ideas what I could use to get the smell out of the furniture? I don't want to change the color in a spot, kwim?

| I can. I may try that. Also I found some furniture fabric cleaner that I will try and use as well. She peed on my bed last night when we attempted to let her sleep with us.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Simply flipping the cushion will not eliminate the odor. She'll still smell it. Nature's miracle removes odors....it's available at pet supply stores. It won't remove the color either.
