| What intices moms to eat more? I hope I am posting this in the right forum. My Zoe had her pups on Saturday and she is eating alright but, I would like to see her eat more. I have tried various things and combinations of things such as...liver, plain yogurt, cottage cheese, cheese, turkey, broths, her canned food and gravies. It seems like if I try to feed her the same thing more than a couple of times she turns her nose up. Yes, she is spoiled! Just wondering if any of you have had success with something that I am not trying? Thanks in advance for any suggestions

| You might want to put this in the breeders section youll get more responses. I have read that many breeders give their moms a whelping pudding. Do a search on here because I know recipes have been posted for it. Good luck

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | You are doing all the right things!! My girl went crazy over liver, chicken & rice, broth, yogurt, & cottage cheese. I just had to keep switching it up for her. There is one other thing you can try.... My guys go nuts over it. Scramble an egg and throw in some cheeder cheese. They love it!

| Thanks so much you guys. I will try putting this in the breeders forum. I agree that maybe the key here is to mix things up more. My girl did eat an egg and cheddar cheese this morning, but would not touch her liver which is very strange for her. I think I just need to change the menu more often. Thanks!
