| I'm not sure, but you could ask the new vet to have them sent (faxed) if you're uncomfortable asking for them. Good Luck!

| Ellie's vet just moved, so we changed offices and followed her. All I did was ask the front desk for a copy of her records. You don't have to take them at all in most cases but the shot record is helpful and it is better for the new vet to have a history but you can tell the new vet instead of having the chart copied if you want...

| Yes i agree that it is time to find A new vet for your Lexi. You are entitled to her records, and when you take her to the new vet let them deal with the old one, and they will have the records faxed .That way it eases the stress on you. The vet is doing unecessary tests on her, and that to me, is A huge red flag. As long as Lexi healthy those other tests are not even beificial .

| Have your new vet get Lexi's records faxed. Thats the easiest way to go. You can give the receptionist all the information when you make an appointment. In the meantime, there is a really good book titled "Stop the Shots" that talks about the who, what, when, where and why regarding vaccines. Protocols are changing rapidly now and overvaccinating is dangerous for your baby and empties your bank account! On another note - that 'tear test' story is AWFUL!! I would report this vet! RIDICULOUS.

| Definitely a new vet You can take your baby to the new vet, and they can request the records from the old one for you. I have vet shopped recently myself because I felt like the other one that I had began to care too much about how many$ she could charge for every test and product there was. I tried a couple different ones, and the best one came from a friends' referral. Ask around, that is certainly the best way to find one. I am very pleased with the vet I have now. He is more holistic and supports titers rather than insisting on immunizations, and doesn't charge an exam fee every time they come for something simple like an immunization. I feel like I have finally found one of the few good ones out there that is still in it for their patients and not for the amount of money they can get out of us.

My vet also doesn't charge for every little thing and she spends as much time as I want answering questions, too. I am still appalled by his Tear Test!! Poor Baby!
