| I hate it too when a brand changes their formula. Then its back to looking for another brand she will eat.

| FYI. . .Did you know that Natural Balance makes reduced calorie ultra food too? I found out the hard way. I e-mailed the company and asked if they ever considered making a "light" dog food and they wrote back and told me that they did. Boy did I feel dumb. Sure enough I went to PetSuppliesPlus and found it. Of course it was in a huge bag. They didn't have any of the smaller bags. My vet would like 2 of my yorkies on Purina Vet weight management food. That is really a low quality food. I have been feeding them Chicken Soup Light. I t'm going to switch to NB as soon as they're almost done with this bag. It does have a little more K-cals but I feel NB is a really good food. |

| Sadie has food allergies and the Natural Balance hypoallergenic can foods are fantastic - she adores them and gobbles them right down - of course, I nuke them for about 8 seconds in the microwave first - LOL. I get the venison and sweet potato, fish and sweet potato, and duck and potato. I haven't tried the dry food yet - but I'm gonna order some with the next batch. She NEVER itches anymore - TG - I think she was allergic to the grains in the other dog foods.

| I'm going to make a change to NB for Winston. One of the testimonials I read said their dog hasn't had a seizure in years while being on this food. It's worth a try....and a local pet store will order it special for me. Think I'm going to ask for some samples first...to see which one he'll like best. Wish me luck!!!

| My girls love the roll too. I've only bought the small rolls and cut them up into small chunks as treats. Do you use it as thier food?

I don't remember for sure, but it was pretty fast! I am very pleased with that and the fact that the don't itch anymore My little Abby has so much hair and the long hair on her face was wet all the time, around her eyes. It's so nice that it doesn't happen any longer. I think thier poo is a little smaller too.Hey, we take what we can get ![]() Good Luck and let me know how it works out for your babies. ![]() Tammy

| Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance® Pet Foods :1 It looks like the smaller kibble only comes in Potato and Duck. Has anyone found the other flavors? I also just noticed that the rolls contain wheat flour or wheat bran...hmmm. I didn't notice the rolls making Abby or Daisy itch or Abby's eyes water. But, I've only bought the small rolls and cut them up into tiny chunks to give as treats..I'm dissappointed though that they contain wheat at all. bummer

Huckleberry will eat it, but not a whole lot. Maybe it will take time for them to warm up to it. ![]() Tammy | |

I bought a bag of NB duck & potato (regular size) and mixed it with just a tiny bit of Nature's Recipe farm wet food. He woofed it down! So we giving it 2 thumbs up so far. Now the real test is to see if he will eat it dry. I'll cont to mix if I have to, as long as he will eat better food. I bought it as Complete Petsmart for $14.99 for the smaller bag. And the selection was pretty limited. But we'll take what we can get.
