| Quick question - what kind of raw meat? does anyone else feed their furbabies raw meat diet? i have been giving my baby milu the beef raw meat (from natures variety) now she is tired of that one, so i want to get her a different meat. what's best for yorkies besides beef? they also offer chicken, venison, lamb. are they all ok for yorkies to eat? Thank you so much!!! |

| I feed a variety of the raw medallions but if your yorkie has allergies it may be better to go with the more exotic meats. My two love all the flavors! Good luck!

| Any of those are fine. Mine like the lamb although I haven't tried the venison in the ground form so can't say on that one. |

| I just got the Nature's Variety raw diet today...Going to start them (3) on it Thursday (still have some homemade food of theirs to finish)-they are tired of it and I'm tired of making their food too !!!) I got the venison (my daughter's one yorkie is on it and loves it) You can also give them fruit and veggies and yogurt (an hour after the raw) as a snack....I wish us all luck with these fussy kids !!!

| I started feeding mine NV raw chicken medallions a few weeks ago and they love it. I feed Wellness Core in the morning and raw in the evening. Is it ok to feed a variety of raw or should I stick to the chicken, then switch to another meat? What kinds of fruits and veg. does everyone offer their babies? And what about yogart and how much? I also put salmon oil on their food morning and night......any advice is appreciated. Thanks |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | All of those flavors are great for them ! My boys like the ORGANIC Chicken the best, by far. Wylie loves all flavors. Marcel does not like rabbit or venison very much. Another brand you could try is Primal.

| My boys prefer the NV venison. Beef makes them itch. And my female prefers the rabbit. That's right now anyway. I keep lamb, venison, and rabbit (the rabbit looks like organic chicken, not much blood in the meat) in the freezer so when these fickle feeders decide they are due a change, I have it!

| i went to the store the other day and bought venison, organic chicken, lamb for milu. (we already have the beef kind at home) so far i haven't tried giving her everything yet, i just gave her the organic chicken (she likes it!), because i wasn't sure if it would upset her stomach to eat different kinds of meat everyday...it's so much food though, it looks like a life time supply of food for milu! i didn't buy the rabbit meat...because milu has brother and sisters at home that are rabbits, and milu loves them, so i couldn't do that!!!!!it would be so wrong! |

| My bunch likes lamb. We also give apples and they love that as well. I have funny little eaters. One will eat cottage cheese the rest won't. One will eat yogart only on certain days......like they are so picky its not easy to feed these little ones....ha ha Good Luck.
