| Canidae ALS I feed all my dogs Canidae All Life Stages. Since I'm new to feeding a yorkie I want to make sure this is a good diet for her. Does anyone else feed this food? Any bad experiences?

| We switched from Canidae to Wellness for small breeds. Canidae had recently changed their formula. Pam |

| I'm glad your dogs are doing well on the food. My dogs have been fed Canidae ALS for about a year now. I've had no problems, but all my other dogs weigh at least 50lbs. I didn't know if Canidae affected smaller dogs differently. I knew that Canidae had recently changed their formula. I actually like the new formula. They added another protein to their first ingredients.

| I have been using Canidae kibble for about a year now and Lila loves it! I haven't tried the new formula though.

| I too just recently switched to Wellness senior from Canidae Platinum. After their recent formula change I was noticing alot of congealed fat in the wet food. Also my kids just weren't as eager to eat it anymore. They seem to like the Wellness, so I've got my fingers crossed. My oldest was having some trouble digesting the whole grain rice and having diarrhea on the recent formula change. I hope for the best. |

| My dogs used to be on Canidae but we switched to Life's Abundance. When I ran out of LA food I had to run out to the doggy boutique to buy a bag of food to tide us over until our regular food arrived. We bought Canidae and my dogs who use to eat, love, and do well with it would hardly eat it. It was later that I found out that the company had changed the ingredients. I guess my dogs just don't like Canidae as much as they used to like it.

| I have fed Lily Canidae Puppy kibble but just came back to Az. yesterday and couldn't find it at Petco or Petsmart so I bought "Authority" ... it is a Petsmart Brand?? Has anyone ever tried it? She is eating it real well right now but it has only been a day so far. I am very confused as to what food is best for her. I fed my teacup poodle Iams Lamb & Rice for years and she lived 19 yrs. It looks like Yorkies might be little different though?? THANKS |

| Iams is an OK food. Not terrible. I'd never heard of Authority before so I looked it up. The Authority Harvest Baked looks like a good food. meat is the #1 ingredient, there are eggs, and plenty of fruits and veggies. Not too many fillers.

| THANKS!! I got the "Puppy made with Lamb" one and she seems to like it pretty good for now. I am thinking about going to the Life Abundance?? Is that the one that comes in the mail fresh? I have to wait until I am back in WV though so it doesn't get caught up between the mail. I am very confused with all the "dog foods" and what is best for her. She seems healthy and she eats real well but I just want to feed her what is good for her. THANKS for trying to help me out!! |

| I'm sorry but Iams is not an ok food. Quote:
So someone might say that their dogs do fine, even lived a long life eating Iams. Good on them, and the dogs, but it still doesn't change the fact that if we take a closer look, the ingredients are nothing good. My friend's dog lived to 16 years eating Purina, but i still won't feed it to my dogs.

| Great food i also feed all five of my dogs 3 yorks and scottie and westie canidea all stages and will never switch. Great reveiws and scotties are notorious for allergies and my vets tried to medicate with steroids. After that bad experience(makes them wee wee everywhere) i got smart and changed their diet. Voilla..magic..no allergies...canidea has great ingredients. Stay with it...lissette |
