| I had a great experience. My yorkie, Mini, was very tiny, weighed 2 pounds 5 ounces and sailed through the surgery just fine. Except for her being sleepy the first day, you wouldn't have known she had surgery. She romped, played, etc. the next day and was 100% the second day. I just had to watch her to make sure she didn't lick the stitches and she didn't pay them much attention. |

| I had Sammi spayed @ 7 months old...She came through wonderfully...She was out of it for 24 hours because she also had her hernia repaired at the same time as her spay (so double dose of drugs for her) but when she did wake up, she was trying to jump all over like nothing happened...CRAZY GIRL!!! I did not have a blood panel done on her prior to surgery...I didnt know anything about that b4... Good Luck! XoXoXo Fran and Sammi

| I chose to have the blood work because if a yorkie has liver shunt, the vet needs to know that before they anesthetize. Mini did not have liver shunt. I was happy about that and it was worth the extra 44 dollars to make sure she was okay. |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | Everything is going to be great....Magic and Sailor both went through the surgery with flying colors...I know you are scared and nervous but trust in your vet...they know what they are doing and will keep you informed with everything!! Just make sure you give lots of love both before and after...and yes I would do the blood work!!!
