| Should i just stop taking her for walk Hi all i don't know if i made a mistake or not but marbellah has only had her two sets of vaccines her vet told me not to take her out for walks until she has her third set but i just hate for her to be home all the time and i have a small patio...so i started taking her for walks she needs the exercise! but now i'm worried that i've been doing the wrong thing i don't want her to get sick or anything - she is suppose to get her third set end of october that's too long for her she's almost 5 months and it's very playful and active but now i'm worried that i've been a bad mom and not listening to her vet. Should i just stop taking her for walks??? thank you all |

My Little Man! Donating Member | Please dont take your baby outside until all the shots are done. She can get sick... I know how you feel that your baby needs to release the energy but play inside until she gets all her shots. Better be safe then sorry.

| I wouldn't take her to any public parks or walk areas where other dogs are. Lots of diseases are contageous through poop, and that is the first thing dogs go sniffing for. A backyard or closed off local area that you know isn't too bad, but I'd just try to wear her out at home with lots of play and stimulation. Teach her things like sit and lay down to stimulate her mentally. It isn't really safe to take a pup to public places before they have had all 3 rounds of shots. Congrats on the young pup, they are so much fun at that age!

| I agree. The vet even told us not to let Maggie run in the yard unless it was people that we knew about their dogs (to be sure that they were okay).
