| Very Red Patches on Skin Hi everyone, this is my first time posting so i hope I get it right! My Yorkie is being treated for fleas right now with stuff the Vet gave me that you put on his back. So far it doesnt seem to be working that great but I am also treating my cats for fleas also. I know I have some work ahead of me but that isn't my concern. Poor little Reggie is developing these extremely bright red patches in his fur now and I believe this is an allergic reaction to the flea saliva from what my research has turned up. I have been bathing him with Oatmeal shampoo and also putting some cream I got at the pet store on the areas but new ones keep showing up. Anyone ever had this problem? And how did you deal with it. I am trying to fix it myself before making yet another expensive trip to the Vet! |
