| Fish My wife is insisting that I add fresh cooked fish to our Yorkie's diets. I personally don't eat sea food, and I wouldn't have the little guy eat anything that I wouldn't eat. I assume, based on Arctic breeds eating fish, it's okay. What do you think of mixing "regular" dog food with fish? |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Fish is wonderful for dogs ! You just want to be careful about throwing off the cal-phos ratio here. If adding a protein to the kibble (or any add'l food to the kibble) - you don't want to exceed adding 15-20% of the overall diet, bc at that point you really start to imbalance the vitamin/mineral balance and must rebalance it yourself.

| I don't feed fish with meals but I do give as treats. They love, love, love it. They can't get enough!
