| Natural Balance We have a 3 yr old large mutt, a 9 yr old shih tzu, an ancient (he's a rescue so we don't really know age but seriously geriatric) schnauzer, and a 2 yr old yorkie. NB has a life stages formula that is supposed to be for all ages so for the last 3 months we've been using it. All of the dogs have gained weight so I had been wondering if that was good or not but Grandpa (the schnauzer) has had quite a good experience. Before I was feeding NutroPro. Grandpa came to us with a gross skin problem. He had scabs ALL over. I took him to the vet and they said it was a bacterial infection we did 2 rounds of antibiotics and special shampoo every week. This went on for about a year. I switched to the Natural Balance and his skin condition is GONE! His breath even smells better. Maybe it was a food allergy but I'm impressed if it was the food. Just thought I would share that. Aside from the slight weight gain I'm happy with the food. Take care, BeccaD

| Thank you for sharing I think simple testimonials like this will help many people. Sorry for the skin probs Grandpa had, but I'm happy that it's finally solved. LOVE your family sounds great, to have all that variety in a fam! I wouldn't worry too much about the weight gain. When dogs switch foods, they may gain or lose weight, depending on the nutrients they're getting. If it's within the normal lines, it should be ok. If you're very worried, the vet will confirm whether the weight gain is good or not. |

| I have been feeding Buddy NB Organic for around three years. He loves it and I know it's all human grade food. I do add fresh chicken and veggies to it as well. Not sure about the weight gain being connected with the food but if it agrees with him and he likes it your ahead of the game. Know that your feeding you pup a top quality food. |
