| Nutro? Is Nutro a good food to be feeding my dogs? I am unable to open the dogfoodanalysis site. I thought I had read before that it was a decent food to be feeding. Does anyone feed this to their dogs or if you don't what are the reasons? |

| No, no, stay away from Nutro! It has been linked to deaths and will probably be recalled. Please read these recent threads: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...-s-yorkie.html http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...al-choice.html |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | No it is not a good food. I feed Life Abundance Premium food and my dogs love it . I can feel good about what is in it. They have never had a recall and seem like they really care for our animals. YOu can go to my website and watch a short video about foods. Also send me a pm here and I will send you a free sample. Here is the video.. Yorkie Products

| No, it is a dangerous food. Please switch to something else immediately.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | When I adopted my Yorkie from the no kill shelter the foster mom was feeding her Nutro. I took her off of it due to all the problems and recalls I'd heard of. I started feeding her Eukanuba for Yorkshire Terriers and that was fine till something changed. The chunks were a bit bigger and a lighter brown and she started spitting it out instead of eating it. I tried the (Healthy Balance?)duck and potato since it is grain free and alot of Yorkies seem to have problems with corn. She hated that so I then ordered a sample of Life's Abundance and she loved it. That's all she eats now.

| Thanks everyone, after I posted this I read a few horrible stories on here about the food. I thought I had heard good things in the past about it but I'm glad I got this information now. I live in Germany and it is hard to find a lot of the good quality foods here. I did just order online some Wellness food. I have never tried this but have heard good things and I am sure my pups will love it. Thanks again everyone! |
